What is a Dedicated Server?

A dedicated game server is a private server for your use only. You will be able to have installed a variety of different games. The servers come with 5 ips and will hold around 120 slots depending on the games CPU load.

What kind of control will I have over the server?

You will have FTP to all the servers that are not Ranked or Honor. You will also receive a control panel to admin each game server instance.

What games can be installed on the dedicated server?

You can have any type of game installed that MyInternetServices.com offers. If you don't see the game that you want on our website please contact sales.

What operating system do the dedicated servers have?

MyInternetServices.com is a 90% Linux house. We feel that all game servers run better on the Linux OS. We will not install any Ranked or Honor server on a Windows OS. If you want to rent a Windows server they cost an additional $20/month.

Can you get more ips for the dedicated server?

MyInternetServices.com has spent a lot of time testing the CPU loads on the servers that we rent. The reason that we give 5 ips on these servers is that anymore game servers that get installed on the CPU may overload it.

Can I run a TeamSpeak server on my dedicated server?

We do not allow TeamSpeak servers to be installed on our dedicated game servers.
